Do I need an account or membership to sell through SEKUREX?
No. One form and a working email. We review every submission by hand and reply with a written proposal within one business day. Nothing is listed or purchased until you accept it.
What is the difference between consigning and selling outright?
Consigning means we list and sell the piece for you at a reserve you agree, and you are paid when it sells; the commission is stated in your proposal before anything goes live. Selling outright means we make a firm offer, you ship the piece to us, and you are paid on receipt and verification.
What counts as proof of authenticity?
Receipts, certificates, serial numbers, box and papers, grading or service records, and clear photographs of the piece and its markings. Send what you have; the more you can show, the faster and stronger the proposal.
Who pays for shipping, and how is the piece protected?
Shipping, insurance and packing are written into your proposal, so there is no surprise. Once it is with us, it is held in our own stock in Woodbridge, New Jersey, photographed as the exact item and shipped tracked.
How and when am I paid?
By the method agreed in your proposal. Direct sales are paid on receipt and verification. Consignment payouts follow the buyer's protection window on eBay, so the sale is final before money moves.
What will you not take?
Anything we cannot verify or describe accurately: counterfeits, pieces without lawful title, recalled goods and items that fail inspection. If it does not pass the Standard, it does not get listed, and we will tell you why.
