What SUN means, plainly: the tag rewrites part of its own URL on every tap and signs it. Your server checks the signature, so a link someone copied out of their browser is dead on arrival.

NTAG215 or NTAG424 DNA — which do I need?

One question decides it: does the tag need to prove it's genuine? If you're writing Amiibo data with TagMo, storing a URL, contact card or shortcut, choose NTAG215 — rewritable, unlocked, 504 bytes. If you need authentication, access control, ticketing or anti-counterfeit protection, choose NTAG424 DNA — AES-128 with SUN message authentication, so a copied link doesn't work twice.

Do the NTAG215 cards work with TagMo and Amiibo?

Yes. They're blank, unlocked NTAG215 chips with the full 504 bytes of user memory — exactly what TagMo expects. No pre-locked or read-only tags.

Can you encode the tags before shipping?

Yes — that's our encoding service. Tell us what you're building and we'll write your data, set up NTAG424 DNA security (AES keys, SUN messages), set lock bits and passwords, or serialize a whole batch with a CSV manifest. Send your project details through the form and we reply within 24 hours with a price and lead time.

What chips are in these tags?

NXP NTAG-family chipsets, as listed in each eBay listing's item specifics: NTAG215 (504 bytes) and NTAG424 DNA (AES-128), both 13.56 MHz ISO 14443A. We test tags from each batch before it's listed.

Can I order more than 50, or in bulk?

The NTAG424 DNA cards, NTAG215 cards and NTAG215 on-metal stickers all go up to a 100-pack. For larger runs or mixed orders, message us on eBay or send your project details through the form — bulk quotes usually come back the same day.

Do the on-metal tags really read on metal?

Yes. They carry a ferrite isolation layer between the antenna and the adhesive, which redirects the magnetic field away from the metal underneath. Without it, metal detunes the antenna and the tag will not read at all. There's a 31-second bench check of exactly this on the home page.
